Update on shipping and packaging

We just received our packaging that we're going to be using to fulfill our kickstarter orders. We're very proud of the fact that they are made out of 100% recycled material, and fully recycle-able and biodegradable! Yes! Go earth!
Just a reminder, when we send surveys out at the end of our campaign, you'll need to respond ASAP to get your orders before 12/25. If you're outside of the US, we can only guarantee a ship date before 12/12. Please DM us if you're interested in expediting the process. We want you to get your socks for all your holiday needs just as much as you do!

Holiday Time

Happy Monday, everyone! It's now time to exclusively think about the holidays coming up! In light of conservation, something we believe very strongly in, we wanted to share a few eco friendly ideas for the holidays:
Use energy-saving LED holiday lights. These lights use 90% less energy than conventional holiday lights. You'll end up saving energy and money!
Make your own wrapping paper. Sometimes, the best part of giving presents is trying to think of creative ways to wrap them, anyway! This is especially fun if you have old childhood posters, maps, or newspapers lying around.
Use organic and local foods for your holiday snacks and feasts. Support local family farmers! The food tastes better and you're giving back directly to your community.
Give gifts that give back. Like, for example, SOCKS FOR ANIMALS.
These are just a few ideas! There are so many other ways we can be eco friendly during the holidays. If you have any ideas that you love, share in the comments section!

We hit our funding goal yesterday thanks to all of our backers! Thank you, thank you! We are gushing with excitement over here. We can't stop smiling (it's honestly a little embarrassing).
Do you know who else is excited? Tom, our polar bear specialist, and our first SFA Research Recipient!
This is Tom using a telemetry antennae for a polar bear project in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska
Dr. Tom S. Smith has been working with wildlife for over 30 years and has been specializing in bear biology since 1992. He's a professor at Utah's Brigham Young University as well as a sitting member on the Polar Bear Specialist Group. Tom's polar bear den and conflict studies began in 2002 and continue to this day. Tom has authored dozens of peer-reviewed papers, and is a leading authority in human-bear conflict research. 10% of polar bear sock profit will be going directly towards Tom's work on human-polar bear conflict and den studies in Northern Alaska.
The more money we can send toward polar bears in Northern Alaska the better! Please keep telling your friends and family about our kickstarter, and we are so grateful for the major part you play in helping threatened animals!
